Mission

The mission of the Office of the General Counsel is to provide legal services to the University, including representing the University in grievances and litigation; advising University Departments; developing and reviewing contracts and agreements; assisting with various University reporting and accountability requirements; aiding in the resolution of student issues; assisting in the development of University Regulations and Policies; supervising outside counsel; and providing a source of relevant legal information through the development and maintenance of a comprehensive and informative web page for the benefit of the entire University Community.
